When Sean Hoernke won last week's Norman FLW Tour, he became the first pro to achieve a unique benchmark: He's now won at each of the FLW Outdoors levels of bass competition.
He won a Cowboy BFL in 1998, a Central Stren in 2003, an FLW Series in 2006, and an FLW Tour this year.
Both David Dudley and Brett Hite have won at the Tour, Series and Stren levels, but each lacks a BFL win (although Dudley did win the Ranger M1, which was a specialty event).
Notable too is that Hoernke has also won a Bassmaster Central Open (Red River 2005).
Another little bit of Hoernke trivia: When he won the 2006 Lewis Smith FLW Series, Todd Faircloth had won the Bassmaster Elite Series event immediately prior, in that case the Table Rock Elite Series.
Who won the Bassmaster Elite Series event immediately prior to Hoernke's Norman win? Yep, it was Todd Faircloth, this time at Amistad.
