FLW Tour and FLW Series angler Sean Hoernke of Texas has signed an endorsement and appearance agreement with Field & Stream magazine. As part of the agreement, he'll fish the remainder of the 2007 tournament season out of a Field & Stream-wrapped Skeeter boat powered by a Yamaha engine.
Hoernke, the top money winner on the FLW Series in 2006, qualified for the 2007 Forrest Wood Cup through the Series and closed the season by winning the event at Alabama's Smith Lake. His new wrap will debut at the FLW Tour event at Lake Norman April 26-29.
He was featured on the May 2006 cover of F&S and competed in the magazine's Total Outdoorsman Challenge – a contest that tested participants' skills in baitcasting, flycasting, air rifle, shotgun, archery, endurance and ATV handling. He'll host a three-part TV series based on that competition, which is set to air on Versus in September and October.
He'll also appear at each of the six 2007 Total Outdoorsman Challenge qualifiers (April 14, Fort Lauderdale; April 21, Dallas; April 28, Las Vegas; May 5, Chicago; May 19, Baltimore; and May 26, Nashville). The championship will be held Aug. 24-25 in Springfield, Mo.
